We have been very pleased with these boats; extremely stable, track very well, nice features including the dashboard (sometimes we don't bother with it on short paddles) and the rear hatch. At 12 feet long, it is the middle child of the series. I had originally planned on buying the Bean Manatee 12 but store stock was all sold.
